Round Barn Farm: Small Wedding?
I recently booked the Round Barn Farm in Waitsfield for a wedding in 2009. While I fell in love with the Inn & the venue, I'm admittedly a little worried it's too much venue for a small wedding. We're doing a destination wedding and best hopes are maybe around 50 guests, with a possible guest count as low as 20 or 25 depending on who can make it. Will it be awkward to have such a small wedding in such a big venue?? If anyone has been to a small wedding there, I'd appreciate your thoughts. Thanks!!

Re: Round Barn Farm: Small Wedding?
I just booked the Round Barn for a June 2009 wedding as well and we have approx 90-95 people. I too immediately fell in love with the property. I think that if it is "the" space for you it will work for any size group! Good Luck!

Re: Round Barn Farm: Small Wedding?
I've been looking into the Round Barn Farm as well. I've requested more information....you must have requested as well? How long did that take??? I haven't seen anything in the mail yet. I think it's a beautiful place for a wedding.

Re: Round Barn Farm: Small Wedding?
Thanks for the replies! I've decided to go ahead and keep the Round Barn even if it's only going to be 25 or so people. I'm sure I'll be nervous for the next year! With regard to requesting information....yes - I requested information via email and received a reply within about a day or two. I received an FAQ list as well as general pricing information. I'll be happy to email it to you if you don't receive information in the mail. Once we looked things over, we booked a weekend trip to check it out. They gave us a tour of the facility, let us go back to their office to show us tons of wedding pictures on their computer to get a sense for the seasons, and even put together specific quotes for us based on our estimated guest amounts. They were really very helpful and wonderful. Best of luck!
