| | Hair/Makeup in the Northeast Kingdom | | Hi! I'm getting married in October at Burke mountain in East Burke. I was hoping someone could provide me with any information or recommendations on salons for hair/makeup in the area.
Also, any information about wedding resources in NEK would be appreciated! Thanks. |

My photographer, Rae Barnes, is actually from Saranac Lake, NY. I did a lot of searching before I found her. I don't know of many photographers that are actually from northern vermont, but I found that many photographers in the area (upstate ny, southern vt, nh, ma) were willing to travel.
A few that I looked into but either didn't fit my style or budget:
Shayne Lynn, burlington, vt
Jay Ericson, Stowe, vt
Corey Hendrickson, waitsfield, vt
Justin Cash, Woodstock, vt
Brian Post, Jackson, nh.
I'll keep you posted if I find any info about a salon! |

Anyway, we used Shear Sensations in Lyndonville, they did hair and makeup up at the Inn for us, and we had mani / pedi with them Friday afternoon. I think they did a great job. Photographer was Dennis Curran out of Waitsfield VT - and he was amazing! Good luck! |
